Bobbie Rathjens is a social media strategist at a healthcare IT consultancy where she was brought on to single-handedly launch a brand new social media service line. An exciting project that she authored and strategized is a social media-based campaign to generate $75,000 in donations for non-verbal children affected by autism.
Previous to her current position she worked for one of the largest health systems in the country as their social media strategist where she planned and launched their first ever TAVR Twitter Surgery Event. This special event was incredibly successful with participation from medical schools and education facilities across the country, and included an educational documentary and live Twitter Q & A with cardiothoracic surgeons that performed the surgery.
To cap her professional experience, Bobbie owned a successful web design and development firm that serviced nearly 200 clients for almost ten years.
